I'm Jennifer C., the breeder behind Jennifer Corr's Onak Alaskan Malamutes located in Orinda, CA. Onak started over 50 years ago and is focused on preserving the Alaskan Malamute. We carefully select our Malamutes to conform to the AKC Malamute standard and focus on maintaining working ability within our lines and good temperaments. We actively compete and work our dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
We wanted to do our part to better the breed. Our breeding program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the Alaskan Malamute while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior temperament. While many of our dogs have made exceptional show prospects, all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends!

Puppy prices include between $1,800 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Natalie is a great house dog and loves to play in the yard to go for long walks. Active but also knows how to calm down and relax for long evenings in the house. Passed OFA with good hops and normal elbows. Non-carrier for PCD and PN.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Polyneuropathy (NDRG1), Alaskan Malamute Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
