I'm Jennifer H., the breeder behind Jennifer Harris located in Lisbon, NH. Our dogs are bred with health and temperament in mind. I work hard to produce puppies that are well taken care of from day one and are prepared to excel in loving and caring homes. We strive to place each pup in a home suited to their temperament and ability.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I’ve been working with animals my whole life. Over the years I’ve fallen in love with dog breeding and German Shepherds.

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs (well, all my animals) are loved members of our family. We have quite a few animals, we also have several human children, we are a very active family and I feel our household is an ideal place to raise well-rounded puppies.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include plush and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
