I'm Linda N., the breeder behind J-Lyn Shepherds located in Belton, SC. Over 40 years experience working with this amazing breed! Our dogs come from champion bloodlines. While we have show prospects available, all of our puppies will make excellent family companions! We'd be thrilled to tell you more about what living with a German Shepherd is like & how they will not only enhance your daily life but exceed your expectations!
Q. & A. with Linda
Why did you start breeding?
My grandfather had a daughter to the original movie dog "Strongheart" which was before "Rin TinTin". So I guess you could say it's in my background. I actually began breeding in 1979.
What makes your program special?
The bloodlines we breed to are from some of the top dogs in the country. We choose to breed to the Standard as provided by AKC & the GSDCA to preserve the credibility of our wonderful breed. We also do temperament testing on all our litters and have done so for over 40 yrs with good success with the outcome of the results.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and red, black and tan, and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
