Meet the breeder

I'm Jo L., the breeder behind Jo Lapp's Bouvier des Flandres located in Bailey, NC. I breed structurally sound and correct puppies with excellent temperaments. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond. I take pride in my program and love my dogs dearly.

Q. & A. with Jo

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding and show program. I previously bred Dobermans and am now focused on the incredible Bouvier des Flandres. It is my passion to breed these wonderful dogs and help ensure the future of the breed.
  • What makes your program special?

I am a professional handler of Bouvier des Flandres. I place a large emphasis on good temperament with each breeding, and I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
