I'm Joy H., the breeder behind Joy's Gordondoodles located in Holmen, WI. Our puppies are raised in our home and are well socialized children, kennel/potty training, and car rides. We health test all our dogs. Puppies come their first vaccinations, deworming, and examinationfrom the vet, puppy care packet, and spay/nueter contract with a genetic health guarentee.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding dogs after my first show dog recieved her conformation champion title and passed allover health tests. My first poodle was such an amazing dog, I wanted to continue her lines through breeding. She had produced great puppies and provided several families with as much love and enjoyment as she had me.What makes your program special?

Parent health testing
Excellent level

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
