Meet the breeder

I'm Julie S., the breeder behind Julie Smith located in Henry County, KY. We are interested in promoting healthy, happy purebred dogs. Our dogs live in our home and are our everyday companions.

Q. & A. with Julie

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeder of my stud male Udolf suggested I show and begin this journey with him. Have been interested in the breed since 1976 and found it difficult to locate healthy well-bred Bouviers.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small and focused breeding program. We are able to devote ample time and energy to our dogs and puppies. We are striving for quality and do not look for quantity. We only whelp one litter a year, putting our Bouviers health and testing priority for the future of the breed.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Julie

Julie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include between $3,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes AKC registration, microchip, tail dock if requested, dew claw removal at 3 days old. The puppies receive a wellness check at birth and 6 - 8 weeks with first shots. Deposit is refundable up to 24 hours after birth, we understand life happens. The Damn may not have had enough males or females to meet the deposit order of dates received or if that is the case some may not want to wait to the following years litter. Must have this decision before tails would be docked, as some would prefer to keep their tail as the mother has hers.”

Contract & health guarantee

Julie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Julie offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Julie directly.
