I'm Nermin I., the breeder behind K9 Academy located in Lowell, MI. Sire Drako is the son of last years National Champion, and Dam Ziva is the grand daughter of Gittano Semper Victor. Both bloodlines are rich in history as well as National and International awards Along with a good pedigree K9 Academy will supply you with top of the line coaching to raise your pup.

Here at K9 Academy International, we have been breeding German shepherds for over 30 years. Our Excellent breeding program is paralleled only by our performance in the World championship and 32 years of training experience. So, not only can we help select the best puppy for you, but we can also help you with advice on to how to socialize, raise, and train your puppy properly.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

About Ziva
Ziva is a female German Shepherd. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Nermin decided to make her part of their program. Nermin has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.
Parent health testing
Good level
K9 Academy reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shepherds.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Temperament Test
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
