I'm Karli M., the breeder behind Kaler Wheatens Irish located in Howell, MI. I compete in Conformation, Barn Hunt, Scent Work, and Dock Diving with my dogs. We currently have the top Barn Hunt, UKC conformation, and Dock Diving Wheatens in the country. All of our dogs are heath tested and guarantee against hereditary defects.

Why did you start breeding?
I am second generation breeder. Our family had bred and shown for over 40 years.
What makes your program special?
I compete in Conformation, Barn Hunt, Scent Work, and Dock Diving with my dogs. We currently have the top Barn Hunt and Dock Diving Wheatens in the country. As well as the top UKC conformation Wheatens. All dogs are heath tested and guarantee against hereditary defects.
I am a behavioral trainer and raise my litters with my raising program to 10 weeks old. My puppies are extremely socialized and raised in my home.
I place all my puppies on fit, not a first come first serve basis. I will get to know you and you I. I will be choosing the puppy that fits your needs as well as the family that fits my puppies needs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
