I'm Kassie C., the breeder behind Kassie's Catahoulas located in Sutter Creek, CA. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our Catahoula dog breeding program. When we got our first Catahoula, we were instantly in love. Since then, we’ve made it our mission to bring happy, healthy puppies into the lives of other families!
Q. & A. with Kassie
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding because I love the Catahoula breed, unfortunately there aren't very many in California since this breed originates from Louisiana. But I wanted to make them more accessible here for others to have the opportunity to experience this awesome breed, and to love them as much as we do.
What makes your program special?
For the first several weeks of your puppies lives the love and care they deserve starts with us. It is important to us that they are well socialized when it comes to being around other dogs, cats, children and even elderly. * I DO NOT SHIP PUPPIES*
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue merle and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Kassie is an amazing breeder. I was looking for the perfect Catahoula to bring to our home. I was able to ask Kassie to pick out the best puppy to meet our family and outdoor needs, as I enjoy hunting, hiking and working with cattle. I also needed a family dog and to be a good protective dog. Kassie then chose Sig for me. Sig is 8 weeks old and I have had Sig home for 4 days and he is the perfect match. He is very smart and aware of his surroundings and loves to be with us. After bringing Sig home, Kassie took the time to reach out to me to see how Sig is doing. I can see that Kassie loves her dog's and truly cares about the puppies after they find a new home. Kassie offered assistance if I need anything to just reach out her. As far as I'm concerned, Kassie is truly the best Catahoula breeder. You can trust her.

Kassie is great to work with. Quick responses and very friendly and helpful.
We got two puppies from the same litter and we couldn’t be more in love. The puppies (who are now almost a year old) are sweet and have fun personalities.
It is clear Kassie cares a lot about the dogs and where they find forever homes.
