I'm Brittany A., the breeder behind KB Ridgebacks and Dals, LLC located in Colome, SD. My dogs are our family. They live in our home, are well socialized, around kids and other dogs, and are well mannered. I do offer a military and first responder discount as well.

Why did you start breeding?
I have always had a love for dogs. We have had dogs my entire life and my mom has bred and raised dogs my whole life, I am 34 years old. I wanted to turn my love of dogs into something that I could develop an income with so I could be home full time with our dogs and our children.What makes your program special?
Our dogs are our family. My husband built me a beautiful kennel building where I can store all of my things and our dogs are kept safe and well cared for. Our puppies are whelped and raised in our home and kennel where they are around noises, hands on daily, around kids and other dogs. I do offer a military and first responder discount on our puppies as my husband is first assistant chief on our local fire department and I have a medical and human services background. My mom has been breeding and raising dogs my entire life (I am 34), so I have been able to experience a lot.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Dalmatian puppies are white and black. Rhodesian Ridgeback puppies include rd whtn brn nose and rd whtn blk nose. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"Dalmatians will be AKC registered, BAER hearing tested, vaccinated and dewormed, vet checked/cleared, HUA/LUA tested, and microchipped. Ridgebacks will be AKC registered, vaccinated, dewormed, vet checked/cleared, and microchipped."

Litter update on 30 Nov 2025 •Our beautiful yellow collar female went to an amazing owner. Her name is now Rosenbauer and will be apart of the fire department crew. Her owner got professional photos done and they turned out wonderful. Very thankful.

About River
River is an AKC registered Rhodesian Ridgeback. She has her OFA certifications, CHIC number, and dna/health testing completed. She is my big loveable baby. River enjoys being with our family and getting lots of exercise and interaction. She is extremely fast and loves to learn.

About Loki
Loki is a very sweet, well mannered girl. She lives in our home. She is AKC registered, OFA certified and has her CHIC number. She has full hearing (BAER tested), health/genetic testing completed, wellness exams routinely. Loki has been in parades with the fire trucks in our community. She loves people and is an excellent mom.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
