Why did you start breeding?
As the founder of Kdash_yorkies, I am Rakiyyah Hill, a dedicated animal lover with a special affinity for dogs, particularly Yorkshire Terriers. My journey with these charming canines began on my 16th birthday, when I was gifted a full-bred Yorkshire Terrier. This special moment sparked a lifelong passion for their unique characteristics, including their striking color, diminutive size, and endearing temperament. With a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and the establishment of my own daycare center, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of child development and education. This expertise has not only enabled me to provide exceptional care for young humans but has also informed my approach to animal care and breeding. I am committed to incorporating socialization and potty training into my breeding program, ensuring that my dogs receive the highest level of care and attention. As a responsible and compassionate breeder, I am dedicated to producing healthy, well-socialized Yorkshire Terriers / Yorkipoos that make wonderful companions for families and individuals alike. About Luna
Luna is a female Yorkshire Terrier. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Rakiyyah decided to make her part of their program. Rakiyyah has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

My family and I recently purchased/"adopted" a wonderful Yorkie poo puppy from Rakiyyah, Kdash_yorkies. From the moment we talked to Rakiyyah, we knew we had come to the right place. We could immediately tell that Rakiyyah has a profound love for the breed. She is overflowing fountain of knowledge and information. Once we began our road to finally bring our new baby home, the process was flawless. She even helped us find the flight nanny who helped us bring Theo from New Jersey to Sacramento . When Theo got home. Rakiyyah went over the details how to raise our puppy including its diet (we even got a supply of food and toys). No question from us was considered unimportant. Rakiyyah answered each and every question and concern we had. Our experience with Kdash_yorkies has been nothing short of amazing. Not only are we looking forward to many years of joy with our new puppy Theo who will be 8 months soon weighs a little less than 7 pounds, we look forward to continuing our relationship with Rakiyyah.

Finding Rakiyyah on Good Dog was a real blessing. Not only was she incredibly communicative and responsive during our search process, but now that it’s been more than six months with our new pup, it’s clear that she is truly a high quality breeder who is passionate about raising happy, healthy puppies. Our Yorkiepoo has been the perfect little puppy since day one. She is playful, naughty and confident. Zero health issues, and in fact, we are constantly amazed by how tough and resilient she is despite her small size (5 lbs as of today). She was recently spayed and was back to her shenanigans within 48 hours. Our previous Yorkiepoo was from a pet store and the difference is unbelievable—it’s clear Rakiyyah puts in the time, energy and love to ensure her puppies are given the best start possible. She definitely goes above and beyond to answer any questions and to prepare you for the adoption process. Her pups parents are AKC and CKC registered. That was a big deal in our decision to purchase our Sweetie. She is truly an amazing person and cares about her puppies! We recently lost our Yorkiepoo and needed to fill that void. +5Rakiyyah is so knowledgeable and very responsive. She always went above and beyond answering all my questions. She made the process very easy for us and always stayed in touch. This puppy was a surprise for our daughter’s birthday and Rakiyyah went out of her way to get balloons to make it the most special surprise. It was a day that we will never forget! We are so in love with our little yorkipoo Saint! He is the perfect addition to our family.
