I'm Elizabeth F., the breeder behind KeeNorth Kees located in Roscommon, MI. We breed to both help ensure the future of the Keeshond and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation. We make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual attention that it needs to thrive, and we do all that we can to prepare them for their future roles and families.
Q. & A. with Elizabeth
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up on a small farm breeding cattle and horses. Just "LOVE" the whole breeding process. Bought a third Keeshond that the breeder wanted me to "finish" that's what got me started and hooked!
What makes your program special?
My breeder friends in Michigan are older and no longer breeding, There help and encouragement to be a resource as a breeder in Northern Michigan.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
