I'm Leon K., the breeder behind Kennedy Weimaraners located in Santa Clarita, CA. Initially, when we were trying to purchase a Weimaraner, we could not find any in Southern California. We purchased our male pup from Las Vegas & bought the dam from Louisiana. Thus, we determined to have a litter for those in Southern California who wanted to partake in this great breed.
Q. & A. with Leon
Why did you start breeding?
When I was searching to purchase a Weimaraner, we could not find any in Southern California, thus we determined to have a litter and share the fun and adventures of having a Weimer with those in The Sunshine State.
What makes your program special?
We are not breeding for profit. We have a ministry and a 501c3 Foundation, thus young children, teens, and inner city youth have come by to visit and enjoy the love of our pups in a country atmosphere.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include silver gray and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
