I'm Armen K., the breeder behind Kid's Best Doodle located in Lancaster, CA. BBB Accredited & Good Dog approved, Kid’s Best Doodle raises Goldendoodles the way they should be — home-raised, socialized, and family-loved.   • Why did you start breeding?

    It began with my own doodles and the joy they brought my family. I wanted to share that same bond with others. Seeing how a well-bred, well-socialized puppy can truly change a home inspired me to start breeding ethically, with care and intention.

  • What makes your program special?

    We’re a small, home-based program where none of our dogs — parents or puppies — are ever kenneled. They’re raised in our home on the most nutritious diets, with daily love and socialization. Parents are health-tested, puppies are CKC registered, microchipped, and cleared by a licensed veterinarian before going home. From day 3, we begin early neurological stimulation and pee pad training. We like to say we “take the P-U out of puppies” — because our doodles skip the smelly, messy stage and transition smoothly into their new homes. I’ve studied canine genetics and completed Good Dog’s breeder education courses, so every pairing is chosen with intention to produce non-shedding, hypoallergenic doodles that are not only beautiful, but also healthy and even-tempered. Because of their intelligence, calm nature, and structured upbringing, our doodles aren’t just wonderful family members — they’re also service-ready and therapy-ready. Families seeking companions with purpose and reliability find that our puppies adapt naturally to these roles.   • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies include petite, miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, chocolate, phantom, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $2,400 - $3,900 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Once your family has been approved and your puppy is matched through a FaceTime call, the remaining balance is due one week prior to the go-home date. This ensures your puppy is fully reserved, balances are up to date, and pickup or transportation can be scheduled smoothly. We accept all major credit cards and also allow multiple payments — families can split the balance across different cards or make payments in smaller portions leading up to the due date. This way, the process is financially simple and flexible. Families who prefer can still pay the full balance in one payment, but the option is there to make it as easy as possible.   • Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • PRA, Golden Retriever 1, PRA, Golden Retriever 2, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    As soon as I got in contact with Armen, it was nothing but good vibes and smooth sailing. He asked important questions about the future home of the puppy we were interested in. He made sure our family was ready to receive the puppy in every capacity. We spoke on the phone for about 30 minutes getting to know each other. He made sure that our family with 2 small kids would be able to handle having a puppy to care for and the size future size of the puppy would be growing with our kids. Every conversation was full of important information and he was very very helpful in getting us comfortable with a new puppy in the home. He sent us home with an amazing care package including food, toys, bowls. Basically all you can ask for.

    My children & I were referred to Armen from a good family friend. From the beginning he mentioned that we were in good care with Armen. As soon as we were connected, Armen provided us with so much information on each puppy. What we loved the best was that he knew each individual dog’s personality. He didn’t leave me with much questions to ask. Once we seen the puppies in person it was love at 1st sight. You can tell that each dog/puppy was well taken care of & we were getting a very good puppy. He made the process so easy & made sure to inform us that he’s always here in case anything was needed. I am so happy for the referral & for getting our new member of the family that was raised with so much love until he went to his forever home. Apollo is a complete joy to have in our life. He’s so loving, playful, smart, gets along so well with our Morkie, loves to cuddle, eats very good & is pee pad trained. Took a few days to adjust but of course he’s in a new environment.     We got our two Goldendoodles, Misty and Ellie, from Kid’s Best Doodle, and I can honestly say it’s been such a great experience from start to finish. Armen was always quick to respond and super genuine, which made us feel comfortable right away. You can tell these puppies were raised in a real home — both girls came clean, healthy, and already used to being handled. They adjusted fast. The first night, we thought it would be rough, but they slept right through and followed the potty routine almost immediately. Misty is the bold, playful one, always trying to make us laugh, and Ellie is the quiet sweetheart who loves to stay close. It’s crazy how social and calm they are for puppies — everyone who meets them says the same thing. They’re not just adorable; they have really good temperaments. We can tell they were loved and socialized early on. If you’re thinking about getting a Goldendoodle, I’d recommend Kid’s Best Doodle in a heartbeat. We couldn’t imagine our home without Misty and Ellie now.

    It’s very apparent how much Armen loves and nurtures his dogs. This was an even better experience than I expected. Beverly has been with me only for half a day and already she’s made herself at home. She is a chill girlie and so sweet!! I would absolutely recommend getting your next fur baby from Armen!     I have to say, from the first contact with Armen, to receiving our puppy now known as Kaia (previously Napa), has been the best experience! What a loving human being who loves his dogs. I filled out an application and was lucky he picked me because we have an incredible mellow puppy, and she has bonded quite well with our family. He gave me suggestions on many things, especially on the first night when she was away from her family. It is only our second day with her, and she feels quite at home now, always by our feet. Armen told us his Golden Doodles are like Uggs, always by our feet, and she keeps quite near us. I highly recommend a Golden Doodle from Armen. He even delivered his puppy and shared the bed and blankets from her home with the family's scent! He definitely went above and beyond being a breeder! I truly recommend him, and you won't go wrong!
