Kilgus Jack Russell Terriers

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kilgus Jack Russell Terriers and our experience with Carla. From the very beginning, Carla was incredibly organized and thorough, providing detailed records of Hickory’s full history, including a biography of his parents and their registry status. It was clear how much care and intention went into every part of his upbringing. Hickory was extremely healthy, completely up to date on his deworming and vaccinations, and clearly raised in a calm, loving, and enriching environment. We had the pleasure of meeting his parents, Ava and Oliver, both brilliant, healthy, JRTCA registered dogs, and it truly shows in their puppy. Hickory, now named Raymond, came to us without any of the common “baggage” some puppies have. He is not skittish, has no issues with people, animals, or different surfaces, and carries himself with a confident, calm, and well adjusted demeanor. You can tell he was thoughtfully socialized around both people and animals from the very start. The day after we adopted him, I worked with Raymond in a training session for less than an hour, and he already learned his name, how to come when called, and how to sit, all in under an hour. His focus, intelligence, and eagerness to learn are truly remarkable. It is obvious he comes from a happy, enriched environment and a strong, healthy lineage to be this smart, attentive, and willing. On top of all that, Raymond is incredibly sweet, cuddly, and loving. He is absolutely beautiful, and our entire family adores him. We cannot wait to start taking him out on hiking trails and adventures together.
