Meet the breeder

I'm Sarah W., the breeder behind Konigsdorf located in Rensselaer County, NY. My passion is to breed top-quality puppies and connect them with loving forever homes. I have been breeding for over 40 years! I prepare all of my pups to thrive in their new forever homes! We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family complementary to their personality and ability.

Q. & A. with Sarah

  • Why did you start breeding?

German Shepherds are an incredible breed, and I decided to start my breeding program in order to preserve the wonderful qualities I found in my dogs. They excel both in their work and as companions. I am dedicated to improving my lines with each generation so that the breed will continue to thrive for a long time to come.
  • What makes your program special?

While I know that not every pup in each litter will grow up to become a service dog, I am confident that each one will become a treasured family member! I work hard so my puppies can leave my home with confidence, ready to take on the world with their new family.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
