Meet the breeder

I'm Kim B., the breeder behind KP Pomskies LLC located in Georgetown, IN. My dogs are OFA elbows, patellas, hips, Cardiac, and thyroid tested. I'm also the American Pomsky Kennel Club's Vice President and Director of Education, writing many of the articles. I raise my dogs in my home; they sleep in my bed. They are family and I want them to be yours too.

Q. & A. with Kim

  • Why did you start breeding?

I had a female Pomsky with breeding rights and it was actually my vet, at the time, who had not seen another Pomsky in the area and had suggested it. I gained a local breeder mentor (Corgis) and also switched vets to my current vet (Champion Springer Spaniel breeder), and between these, as well as the close-knit Pomsky breeder community, I feel like my program gets better every day.
  • What makes your program special?

I do a few things to stand out within the Pomsky community: 1) OFA Hip/Elbows/Eyes/Cardiac/Thyroid 2) All my puppies leave with 2 sets of DHPP shots, 6/8 wks. 3) I utilize the ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation) protocol to help the puppies start from Day 2 to have advanced developed synapses for better coping skills. 4) I also implement several protocols of Puppy Culture.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and white, chocolate, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
