I'm Kristie F., the breeder behind Kristie’s Husky Haven located in Sanbornton, NH. When we bring a life into the world, we take that responsibility seriously and do everything we can to make sure it gets the best start possible. Additionally, any pup or dog from our program is a part of our pack for life, and we will always have a home for them here if they need it.
Q. & A. with Kristie
Why did you start breeding?
For as long as I can remember I had always loved and wanted a husky. After I completed college I knew I was ready to finally get a husky. I immediately fell in love with the breed plus they made for the best outdoor buddies! They made me laugh, smile, and gave me someone to talk to during the hardest times of my life. I knew I wanted to share that kind of comfort, love, and joy with more people!
What makes your program special?
I put a lot of love, time, and effort into my dogs and my program. I care about the well-being of each of my dogs and love them as if they were my own children. Not only do I care about my dogs, I care about the homes they go to when looking for good homes and about the pups even after they go home. Each family becomes an extended member to my fur family.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Siberian Husky puppies include black tan and white, red and white, gray and white, black and white, brown and white, agouti and white, white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

From the initial contact I had with Kristie I could tell that she is super committed and dedicated to what she does. She takes such good care of the pups and it is quite evident that the pups are brought up in a healthy atmosphere with proper nutrition and care. One of the admirable qualities in Kristie is that she cares about the homes/families her pups are going to and its not just about business.
In all my interactions with her she has been super responsive and articulate in answering multiple questions I had about the breed, the litter, the pups etc. She even brought some pups for me to meet in NH before I decided on which one to get.
I ended up getting Ferrero/Quinzel and I couldn’t have been happier. He literally is the light of my life and he gave me a purpose to live. Even after I got Quinzel, Kristie has been available to answer any questions I had in general. I’m glad she is a part of the support system I have in order to raise and take care of my Quinzel
