I'm Krystle C., the breeder behind Krystle's Miniature Schnauzers located in Troutdale, OR. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Miniature Schnauzers into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions. We socialize them as much as possible and begin potty training to wee wee pads at 3 weeks old! I am a small hobby breeder and own two beautiful females; Charlie is salt and pepper and Remi is black and white. We love our minis and love being a part of bringing them into this world and seeing the joy they bring their families for a lifetime!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always wanted to be a breeder as my aunt has always bred Boston Terriers. I started off with them but they were just so difficult. My best friend is also a breeder and I fell in love with her Mini Scnauzers and made the decision 6-7 years ago to change breeds.
What makes your program special?
Our pups are a beloved part of our family. I put a lot into what I do and taking care of our pets, and finding them loving forever homes!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include parti, salt and pepper, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Krystle has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Deposit is $500 to hold pup you want, remaining balance is due at pickup. Price includes pup, limited AKC paperwork, health guarantee, health record booklet, dews and tails cropped, vet exam, first shot, and regular deworming. Deposits are $500 and remaining balance is due at pickup. Deposits are non refundable unless pup is deemed unhealthy and unable to home. Deposit will then be returned or can pick new pup if/when available.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. I have never bought a puppy from a breeder before, and it can be kind of nerve wracking. Krystle was very communicative, accommodating, and made sure to answer any questions I had (and I had a lot of them), and send regular updates of our puppy in her care. Bruno has such a great temperament, and is such a sweet, calm, and intelligent pup that is training and learning very well. I really have never met a dog like him before! Working with Krystle was wonderful, she has so much knowledge about the breed!! She made the process very easy and even checked in on us after we got Rufus home. We LOVE our little puppy so much, he has so much personality and is extremely smart. He was already pawing at the door to let us know he needed to potty within the first week. He is a little over 10 weeks now and already knows how to sit, lay down, and shake. We are surprised every day how smart he is. Love this breed so much already!

Krystle was great to work with. She regularly sent updates and videos and provided both written and verbal instructions and details at pickup. She was responsive to any questions and concerns we had. Haggis has been with us for two weeks now and she is a healthy and smart puppy that’s settling in nicely. She seemed comfortable in her crate from the first day and is almost fully potty trained at just ten weeks so I think Krystle gave her a great start.
