Q. & A. with Karen
Why did you start breeding?
I began showing Shih Tzu in 1985 and had a small successful breeding program. The first Chinese Crested joined the family around 2000, and they gradually took over, until there is only one 15 year old Shih tzu left. I have enjoyed breeding and showing my Cresteds, though my breeding program is small.
What makes your program special?
I love true hairless cresteds, and I also like beautiful powderpuffs. My dogs are my family and permit me to share their home.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
