I'm Angi V., the breeder behind Lakeside Doodles located in Sherrard, IL. Our parents are genetic tested and PennHip tested. They all live in homes, not kennels and are truly loved and cared for. We do ENS training and early potty training. New pet parents report their dog is nearly fully potty trained and bell trained within weeks.
Q. & A. with Angi
Why did you start breeding?
Once Sadie was 2 years old, I had her tests done and started looking for a stud. We added Teddy to our family and a year later had our 1st litter. I spent countless hours online learning all that I could and reaching out to other breeders.
What makes your program special?
We also have a small (4 kennels) boarding facility and I board a lot of our past puppies. I love seeing them all grown up! I breed and board full time now and have left my 23 year health care career.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include miniature and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
