Meet the breeder

I'm LaRee D., the breeder behind LaRee Drolet located in Kingsland, GA. I breed my dogs with the intent to produce the next champion and show quality pup. I take great pride in my dogs' temperaments and the bloodline I have produced. Years of learning and careful planning has contributed to the success of my program and I have loved finding families to share my love for the breed!

Q. & A. with LaRee

  • Why did you start breeding?

After showing my Pharaoh Hound Simone, we ended up winning multiple specialities, Best of Breed at Westminster, multiple Best In Shows, and three 3 National Speciality wins. After her 3 years of showing, and all her health testing was complete, I bred Simone and got some beautiful puppies, and my breeding program became known, and my kennel is Shalimar Pharaohs.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed for health, temperament, form, function and beauty.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
