I'm Tracy H., the breeder behind Laurel Furnace Bretons located in New Florence, PA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, intelligence and prey drive. We strive to produce the best hunters and family members. We ensure the pups are well socialized with all age ranges and with other dogs. They go through scent stimulation training starting at 3 days old to about 12 days old.

Why did you start breeding?
My husband had a Golden Retriever when we met but wanted to add a pointer as well. He looked around at all different breeds and fell in love with the French Brittany. Their drive, performance in the field and temperament sealed the deal. We decided we wanted to share this special breed with others. That started our breeding program. Our first female is 9 years old now. The rest is history.What makes your program special?
We are very particular when it comes to matching dogs for breeding. We look for size, temperament, bird drive, lineage, health, and good hips. All of our dogs have their hips tested and are free of any gene defects. When you buy from us you become part of our family! We love to keep in touch and are always available should you have a question.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include roan, tri-colored, orange and white, liver and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Price
"Price includes AKC registration option (litter is registered), first round of vaccinations, deworming and socialization. We require a $300 deposit to be placed on the list for a puppy. The deposit will be put towards the total due when you pick up your puppy."

Hip Dysplasia
