I'm Cassidy J., the breeder behind Lazy 44 Catahoulas located in Okeechobee, FL. We are dedicated to continuing our phenomenal lines in an effort to provide families with loving, healthy puppies. Our goal is to produce a working dog sound both in body and mind, and clear of any health issues. We maintain the belief that our dogs are working dogs first, and anything else second.

"Price includes NALC (and UKC if applicable) paperwork, microchipped, and first round of shots. All puppies are the same price regardless of solid of leopard, blue eyes, or brown eyes. Deposit is to ensure a puppy has a home waiting for them come eight weeks old."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
