I'm Marie C., the breeder behind Legacy Reborn located in Palmyra, PA. Our dogs are bred for lifelong companions, they would do well in any sort of venue. All of our adult dogs are health tested. OFA hips/elbows and Eyes, along with have a full Embark Panel done. We want to offer excellent pups that will live a nice long healthy life.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My pap bred German Rottweilers, I helped him and knew it was want I wanted to do, except I chose the German Shepherd breed for their intelligence. and loyalty. I wanted to produce healthy puppies that will succeed in every venue, companion, sport, service work. Bettering the breed as a whole.
  • What makes your program special?

    All my dogs are OFA hip/elbows/eye certified, and embark genetic Health tested and have amazing temperaments. I can have people come visit or take my adult dogs in public and they are excellent behaved. I breed to better the breed by having great health and temperaments.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include long and stock coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, black, black and red, isabella, bi-color, black and tan, blue, liver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,200 - $3,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Pituitary Dwarfism, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
