I'm Lisa L., the breeder behind Levesques German Shepherds located in Buckfield, ME. In order to start our puppies off on the right paw, we begin training and socializing at a young age so they are set up for success in their new homes. We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols. We raise our Pups in home around people, cats, large dogs and small dogs. We are breeding lower drive German Shepherds to give the average family a chance to own this beautiful breed without the neediness of a high drive working dog.

We are the only breeder in The State of Maine producing purebred exotic color german shepherds. Our breeding dogs have been transported to Maine from all over The Country. "The price includes first vaccinations, vet checks, and all age appropriate deworming. Puppy pack. Akc paperwork. Microchipping. Birth certificate. Deposits are made to hold the pup you want. Deposits are non refundable if you back out and 100% refundable if we had to back out for any reason."

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
