I'm Jo T., the breeder behind Liberty Kennel located in Apopka, FL. My dogs are CH’s in the ring and in the hearts of their families. I strive to produce puppies with sound structure, healthy, intuitive, wonderful temperaments. My priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all my dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond.

Why did you start breeding?
It is my passion to breed these incredible dogs and help ensure the future of the American Hairless Terrier. They have been such a blessing in my life as they are the only dogs I have found that I can love and interact with without having a terrible allergic reaction. in 2001. I brought home my first pup and it was the first time in my life, I really knew what it's like to love and be loved by a man's best friend. It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.
What makes your program special?
I am a professional handler of American Hairless Terrier. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have hairless coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black sable red, black and tan, red brindle and white, and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jo

Jo has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $1,000 deposit and between $1,000 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Also included are AKC registration, first shots, a health certificate, and a guarantee in a signed contract. A $1000.00 deposit will guarantee a place in the top 4 picks. In some cases, the deposit may be refundable if the specific sex or color of a puppy is not available once the puppies are born."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
