Meet the breeder

I'm Jennifer H., the breeder behind Lincoln Goldendoodles located in Lincoln, CA. Jennifer is a responsible dog breeder specializing in Goldendoodle and other poodle mixes. A former kindergarten teacher with seven years of experience, Jennifer now applies her nurturing and organizational skills to her family's breeding program. The business is a natural extension of her husband Amerik's family's twenty-plus years of breeding experience. Operating from a home with a spacious backyard in Northern California, Jennifer and her family practice responsible breeding standards. When not focused on the breeding program, the family, including their six children and dogs, can be found exploring their shared passion for the outdoors through hiking, fishing, and camping. We have 3 beautiful dogs. Cali and Lullaby are purebred Standard Poodles. Teddy is a Goldendoodle (F1b). Our animals are well loved and cared for. We enjoy taking our dogs for walks, to the park, and on family outings. Our dogs are very much apart of our everyday lives.

Q. & A. with Jennifer

  • Why did you start breeding?

Breeding Philosophy: Combining Legacy with Necessity Jennifer’s passion for ethical dog breeding grew from a long family legacy, specifically from observing her husband's relatives who breed Golden Retrievers. Our six children enjoyed playing with the puppies and witnessing the incredible miracle of birth, cementing our desire to continue this tradition. However, this dream faced a significant hurdle: Jennifer has considerable allergies to high-shedding dogs. For us, responsible dog ownership meant finding a breed that would allow Jennifer, and the entire family, to fully immerse themselves in the demanding yet rewarding world of puppy rearing without compromising health. We discovered the answer in the Goldendoodle. We fell in love with their famously gentle, intelligent temperament and, crucially, their low-shedding coats—particularly those with a higher Poodle percentage—which ensure compatibility with allergies and allow Jennifer to breathe freely while still cuddling the pups. This journey transformed our goal: we are now dedicated to ethically breeding loving, family-friendly, hypoallergenic Goldendoodles, using our structured, active family life and professional experience to produce dogs with unmatched health, resilience, and stability for other families to cherish.
  • What makes your program special?

Our program’s true distinction lies in the unparalleled focus on temperament and stability. We seek to produce puppies that embody the perfect balance: highly loving and playful companions combined with the intelligence and devotion that results in a profound willingness to obey and please their owners. Jennifer's seven years as a kindergarten teacher provides the structured, patient foundation necessary for early manners training and enrichment. We exposure our breeding stock and puppies to a variety of unexpected sights, sounds, and chaos of six children (and their friends), building proven resilience from day one. This rigorous, hands-on rearing, alongside socialization from our six children, neighbors, and friends, creates dogs that are not just low-shedding and compatible with allergies (a requirement for Jennifer), but are exceptionally stable, biddable, and ready to thrive as cherished, obedient members of their new families. The Rearing Environment: A Country-Style Foundation All of our breeding dogs and puppies live with us, fully integrated into our family life. Our home sits on a beautiful, country-style lot in a residential area, which we utilize as a comprehensive enrichment center for our dogs. This environment is specifically designed to maximize their physical and mental development: Diverse Terrain Exposure: The dogs and puppies have constant access to varied surfaces, including a large lawn, the rich soil of our garden, and the uneven terrain of the small orchard. This early exposure is essential for building confidence, coordination, and physical soundness. Active Family Life: The spacious outdoor area, complete with a dedicated playground and large run spaces, ensures the dogs get rigorous daily exercise. This allows them to run, play, and interact constantly with our six children, neighbors, and friends in a natural, stimulating setting, exceeding typical socialization demands. Sensory Richness: The seasonal changes in the garden and orchard, combined with the sounds and activity of a large family playing outdoors, provide continuous, real-world sensory development, ensuring our dogs are well-adjusted to a dynamic home life. Our commitment to raising dogs within this enriching, country setting is a core pillar of our success in producing resilient and well-balanced Goldendoodle companions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Jennifer was super easy to work with. We knew we wanted a bigger dog and similar to our 7 year old goldendoodle. We arranged a time to hang out with the puppies and get an idea of temperaments. After about an hour, we chose our Benny :) Benny has been such a great addition to our family.

Our puppy is an absolute joy! She’s adorable, playful, and full of personality. Her strong spirit keeps us entertained every day, and she brings so much energy and happiness wherever she goes. One of the sweetest things about her is how much she loves her companion, Otis. The two of them are inseparable, always playing, cuddling, and looking out for each other. She has a wonderful mix of affection, confidence, and charm that makes her impossible not to love. We couldn’t be happier with this sweet little girl! Upon meeting the breeder Jennifer, we were taken back by how she presented, bred, and took care of her litters. Communication has been impeccable. I would rate this entire experience a 10/10!

Jennifer was wonderful to work with throughout the entire adoption process. She was always kind, responsive, and happy to answer all of my questions. She kept me updated with photos and information about my puppy as she grew, which made the wait so much more special. When we brought Blossom home, it was clear she had been raised in a happy, loving environment. She is sweet, confident, and has already brought so much joy to our family. You can tell Jennifer truly cares about her dogs and puppies. I would absolutely recommend one of Jennifer’s puppies to anyone looking for a wonderful addition to their family. We are so grateful for our sweet Blossom and would gladly adopt from Jennifer again in the future! 😊🌸
