Meet the breeder

I'm Ann O., the breeder behind Little Starz Bedlington located in Cypress, TX. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care.

Q. & A. with Ann

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey into breeding Bedlington Terriers started with a love for the breed and a desire to preserve everything that makes them so special. What began as admiration for their unique look, gentle temperament, and playful personality quickly grew into a passion for showing and breeding quality dogs. Through mentorship, learning, and dedication, I became committed to producing healthy, well-tempered Bedlington Terriers that meet the breed standard while making wonderful companions. Every litter is carefully planned with health, temperament, and breed preservation in mind. Breeding has become more than a hobby—it’s a way to contribute to the future of a breed I truly love
  • What makes your program special?

What makes our breeding program special is our commitment to quality over quantity. Every breeding is carefully planned with a focus on health, temperament, structure, and preserving the true essence of the Bedlington Terrier. Our dogs are cherished members of our family and are raised with love, attention, and early socialization. We actively participate in conformation shows to ensure our breeding dogs meet the breed standard and represent the best qualities of the Bedlington Terrier
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include liver and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Ann

Ann has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Ann partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our matching policy is focused on placing each puppy in the home that best fits their temperament, needs, and future lifestyle. We spend time getting to know each puppy as they grow, observing their personality, energy level, and confidence. As puppies develop, we work closely with families on our reservation list to understand their preferences and expectations. While we take requests into consideration, final placement decisions are made with the puppy’s best interest in mind to ensure a successful lifelong match. Our goal is to create a perfect fit between puppy and family—where both can thrive together. We believe this thoughtful approach leads to happier dogs and more successful placements.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our pricing reflects the care, quality, and dedication that goes into every puppy we raise. Each litter is thoughtfully planned, with a strong focus on health testing, temperament, and adherence to the Bedlington Terrier breed standard. Puppies are raised in a family environment with early socialization, veterinary care, and ongoing attention to ensure they have the best possible start in life. The price includes age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, a health check, and support throughout the puppy’s transition to their new home. We believe in responsible breeding rather than mass production, and our pricing reflects the time, expertise, and commitment it takes to raise healthy, well-adjusted, and beautiful Bedlington Terriers. Our goal is not only to place puppies, but to match each one with the right loving home where they will thrive. To reserve a puppy from our program, we require a deposit once a litter is announced and selections become available. This deposit shows commitment from the buyer and helps us ensure each puppy is placed in a carefully chosen, loving home. Deposits are typically non-refundable unless we are unable to provide a puppy as planned. The deposit is applied toward the total purchase price of the puppy. We place great importance on matching each puppy with the right family, and deposits allow us to plan those placements thoughtfully and responsibly.”
