I'm Kate & AJ S., the breeder behind Lockehaven Weimaraners - Enfield, NH located in Enfield, NH. Our puppies are raised with love right in the heart of our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to thrive with their new families. They are affectionate, intelligent, and cute as can be!
Q. & A. with Kate & AJ
Why did you start breeding?
AJ’s parents raised shelties for years. We wanted a dog that was better suited to our athletic and outdoor lifestyle and chose to make our first dog together a Weimaraner. Along the way to developing our Weim family, there was much scouring of pedigrees and health histories and countless conversations with our mentor and veterinarians.
What makes your program special?
Puppies are raised in the heart of our home alongside our adult Weims and are never kenneled. We teach puppies how to be a member of an active family from day 1 and they remember our voice and basic commands for years to follow. We do not rehome or adult dogs upon retirement. Our Weims are permanent members of our family and our puppy families become family as well.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue and silver gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hello folks, we just learned that we haven’t been getting notification updates from Good Dog for some reason for almost a year and didn’t really think anything was a mess until we got a phone call from a family who hadn’t heard from us. We just assumed that when we didn’t have puppies people didn’t need to contact us and when we tried to get into our account, we were locked out since we used our farm number. We apologize to everyone and we have access to our account again. We always have access to our Facebook and Instagram pages and you’re always welcome to call the farm as well. here’s a photo of our latest litter. We are working our way down the waitlist that we already have, so we will not be listening any puppies at this time. You can see photos and videos of the puppies anytime online.

Fabulous experience start to finish. Ranger is a super well adjusted puppy whose good behaviour is frequently commented on. He’s smart and a very good looking dog.
I would recommend them to anyone!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
