Q. & A. with Shannon

  • Why did you start breeding?

I live on a farm always have so animals are family. I own and operate a family goat dairy with cattle business too. I compete & show my dogs and have won multiple awards. After showing for a time, I decided to become a breeder to pass on my legacy. I am very reputable & the lineage of my breeding dogs is very important. Not only do I focus on health but also temperament, to provide families with the best possible Pugs to love.
  • What makes your program special?

I pride myself on my program by being focused not only on health and lineage but by providing ample time with the dam and litter and as well as providing early socialization before puppies leave for their forever home. I provide full veterinary records, and my families are able to contact my vet if they would like. I do complete health genetic testing on parents before any breeding takes place.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, fawn, white, cream, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We had an amazing experience working with Shannon. We brought home a brindle pug puppy who was clearly well cared for from day one. He came already crate trained, healthy, and with all the proper documentation. Shannon even sent us home with a bunch of helpful extras that made the transition so much easier. A year later, we couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend.

Working with Jenny/Shannon was such a breeze from start to finish. We got a chance to video chat to pick out our Pug and have any questions answered we needed. We also received weekly updates until we could bring Coco home. Would recommend 1000 times over to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable and responsible breeder!

The transactions and communication went smoothly. We love our Georgiana very much and she is so funny and quite the little character.

We cannot say say enough good things about our experience with Locust Creek Pugs! The communication was top tier and our new fur baby is everything and more. Our vet said Shannon provided wonderful vet records and the sweet care bag with Pipers needs was so nice. Piper is the cutest little pug amd a loved new member of our family. We will definitely keep them in mind for possible future family members.
