I'm Maureen T., the breeder behind Lyonnese Rhodesian Ridgebacks located in Lebanon, NJ. Our program was built with care and intention in every step. We are passionate about the health and wellbeing of this breed, and we want our program to be an example of how to responsibly breed high-quality, healthy dogs.
Q. & A. with Maureen
Why did you start breeding?
It was organic. I worked with a well known breeder for 25 years and I came to love the breed and conformation showing. I was always fascinated with behavior and the rest just happened.
What makes your program special?
I focus on health and temperament and how our dogs fit into today’s society versus how they were originally designed. I match families and dogs and strive to breed excellent representations of the breed.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
