I'm Kelly H., the breeder behind Maison Vuker located in Louisville, KY. Our puppies will excel at anything you ask of them & are born & raised in the house with a modified super puppy /puppy culture/ avi dog protocol designed to help them reach their full potential. They are well started on potty training, clicker obedience, drive building & learn proprioception. They go home already knowing sit/down/paw/touch/body awareness & how to walk on lead & ride quietly in the crate in the car. Our dogs & puppies do NOT live in a pen or kennel, they live in our home! The parents sleep in our bedroom every night. Every single day, multiple times a day, they are taken on puppy-sized adventures & little challenges or stressors are introduced to learn from & overcome. Each puppy is worked with individually each & every day. We produce the most coordinated & athletic babies because we take them out to build their bodies & minds every day, starting at 4 weeks old. We visit a gun range, a small private airport & many other safe places for socialization. We introduce many different types/sizes/ages/cultures of people so that our babies are confident & open when meeting new people. We also introduce them to several other adult dogs that are safe & teach them that new people/places/things will mean fun & cookies. Our extensive socialization means our babies take new things in stride. Socialization starts at birth & continues every day until we find each puppy the perfect home. We love placing puppies into sport homes & each puppy is imprinted with daily drive-building exercises geared towards not only bite sports but SAR/tracking, agility & obedience as well. They also excel as active family protection dogs in homes with working dog experience (or who will be working with a trainer with experience with working line herding breeds). Most of our dogs would not be happy as couch potatoes & like most working line dogs will require continued training & socialization to help ensure they reach their full genetic potential...& these guys have potential in droves! We prefer homes with no young children but this is not a hard rule & is considered on a case-by-case basis. We raised our children from birth with high drive working dogs so we know with dedication & planning it is certainly doable! **If you are interested in one of our super puppies please tell us as much as possible about your family & what you are looking for in a puppy/dog. If our babies aren't suitable for your home we will happily refer you to an ethical breeder who can help you. ** We pride ourselves on placing the right puppy into the right home & we are always available for support after they go home. We will always take back any puppy we've produced if their owner can't keep them no matter their age. We truly care about our puppies for their entire life. We train each one of our puppies as if we were keeping it for ourselves & have more than 25 years of training experience with working dogs.

Why did you start breeding?
We breed *VERY* infrequently & I devote ALL of my time, energy, and efforts to each puppy to ensure our puppies are properly socialized from the moment they are born and prepared to excel in their new homes. We introduce the litterbox with pine pellets at 3 weeks & start taking them outside to potty at 4 weeks. By 6 weeks they crying to let us know they need to potty & are going to the door to go outside. We introduce walking on a lead at 5 weeks & start taking them on car rides week five. We develop a work ethic by hand-feeding meals having them work for their food, starting retrieves with toys in a hallway, playing flirt pole & tug with each puppy individually, & transferring value of food with praise.What makes your program special?
We do not breed our dogs to sell puppies. We breed to keep a puppy to train for ourselves & spend years planning a litter before they are whelped. From the moment our babies are born they are handled, loved & we do early neurological stimulation to create more intelligent & healthy puppies. Real training begins at weaning & from this time forward we start evaluating who each puppy is & what they are best suited for. In order to match them to the best possible home we are constantly evaluating. As a dog trainer my calling is in imprinting & training puppies. I know how to help them develop into stable, problem-solving, driven, & thinking dogs that can meet any challenge with gusto & overcome failures with resiliency. Our puppies go home with 4 weeks of carefully planned & structured training (from 4-8 weeks). They are nearly potty trained, walk on a leash, travel easily, want to work with you & understand a system of communication to set them up for a lifetime of learning, adventures, & a true partnership with their people.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
“The price includes the purchase agreement & health guarantee, vaccinations & de-worming, microchip, extensive socialization program, AKC limited registration (which can be changed to full registration if min requirements are met at NO additional charge. 1 month of Trupanion health insurance, resources for training & socialization, lifetime breeder support, & of course the most amazing super puppy! :). A deposit reserves a puppy. If we cannot provide a puppy we deem suitable for your goals & home, you can then choose to wait for the next litter, or we can return the deposit to you.”
