I'm Katrina G., the breeder behind Maples Arizona Bernese Mountain Dogs located in Anthem, AZ. Our Bernese Mountain Dogs are beloved members of our family and raised in our home. Why did you start breeding?
After falling in love with Bernese Mountain Dogs, I knew I wanted to share everything I love about this incredible breed with other families. I wanted to raise puppies who are not only beautiful, but healthy, well-socialized, and deeply loved from the very beginning, so they can grow into the wonderful family companions Berners are known to be.What makes your program special?
Our puppies are raised right in our home as part of our family, with lots of individual love, handling, and early socialization. We prioritize health and temperament above all else, including extensive genetic and health testing and OFA evaluations of our breeding dogs. Our goal is to give every puppy the healthiest, happiest start possible and thoughtfully match them with a loving forever family.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Katrina
Katrina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Katrina partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

We do consider the wants and preferences of families but reserve the right to make the final decision about placement. If a puppy is a good fit for multiple families, the family that was on the wait list first will get priority. ”

We require a $500 non refundable deposit. The deposit does not reserve a specific puppy or guarantee placement. The deposit puts you on the wait list to move forward with matching you to a puppy.”
