I'm shel g., the breeder behind Mar Vista Airedales located in Los Angeles, CA. We enjoy showing our dogs & occasionally offer puppies from our Champion Airedale Terriers. We are proud of our dogs and pups! We are dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, training, & rehoming our pups. We are members of the National and California Airedale Clubs.

Why did you start breeding?
I bought several really nice show dogs. Our first were Lakeland Terriers. We later added an Airedale. We were thrilled to have success in showing our dogs. We later decided after many years of showing that we wanted to pass on excellent traits that were befitting of breed type and temperament.What makes your program special?
We are there for all our owners. You are getting a pup that is well bred and have multiple generations of top winning dogs in their direct pedigree. Our dogs are all CHIC certified.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include grizzle and tan and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from shel
shel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,000 refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Contact Breeder. The price includes AKC silver registration, health guarantee, microchip with AKC reunite, 1st set of puppy shots, veterinary exam and screening. My deposits are refundable. I ask people let me know before six weeks if any change of heart. After 6 weeks I will however hold your deposit until the pup is sold.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
