I'm Susie G., the breeder behind Mariposa Mountain Airedales located in Mariposa, CA. We are a very selective breeding program that breeds for health and temperament. Our dogs are bred to spread the love of the breed to our locals and everyone else. They are not easy to train but they are trainable and once they know their owner and your bond is built, it is absolutely unbreakable. We truly love our pups and take pride in our program.
Q. & A. with Susie
Why did you start breeding?
We had an Airedale Terrier for 6 years and we absolutely adored him. When he was taken from us, life was not the same. Years later, we decided to get two more pups and we fell in love again. We then decided to begin our own breeding program. It has been an absolute joy of a journey and we are blessed to do what we do.
What makes your program special?
We decided to breed because of how special our first Airedale was to us. We wanted to share with everyone how loving and absolutely wonderful Airedales are. They are great family dogs, hunting dogs, working dogs, and everything dogs. We have high expectations for our puppies and make sure to place each one in an enriching and loving home that will match their temperament and personality. We are passionate about Airedale Terriers, and our love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of our breeding program.
