I'm Toni B., the breeder behind Mar-Key Shorthairs located in Clovis, NM. We are a small breeding program. We are always striving to better the German Shorthaired Pointer breed. We show dogs and am always open to learning new ways to better the breed as well as our breeding practices. Before anything else, our dogs are family members first!
Q. & A. with Toni
Why did you start breeding?
I had a vision of what a good Shorthair would look like and wanted to try to produce it.
What makes your program special?
The temperament of my dogs is so good. All pups are temperament tested at 7 weeks. Then, we really try to fit the right puppy with the right family.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
