I'm Chelsea D., the breeder behind Marvel-ous baby basset hounds located in Boise, ID. I think everyone should have a basset hound. They are the most snuggly sweetest dogs and make the best companions. If trained they would make great hunting dogs as well. I have our Loki and Valkyrie in home and they are my babies. They make a great pet for someone in all walks of life.

Cool thing, my dams heritage comes from Hungary, Canada and Czechoslovakia.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black red and white, black tan and white, and lemon and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Chelsea

Chelsea has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Chelsea may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
