I'm Angela G., the breeder behind Maska Honi Working German Shepherds located in Newfane, NY. Our puppies are working line GSDs from health tested, titled Czech imports. Our litters are limited and carefully planned with working and active pet homes in mind. Maska Honi gets first pick out of every litter. Working homes are given priority. We do not guarantee for sex or color.
Q. & A. with Angela
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding is not the main goal of our Kennel, but it can be a wonderful perk if you have the right dog! Growing up watching healthy puppies being bred on purpose really made an impact on me. We hope with the limited planned litters we have we can better the breed with temperament, health, intelligence and conformation.
What makes your program special?
We don't even consider breeding until all X-rays, health, and temperament tests are completed and both dogs are titled. Even then, not every dog should be bred. That is the reason we only have a small number of planned litters. We also feel that anyone that has one of our puppies is part of our family. We will continue to be a support system for the puppy's life.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have stock coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable and bi-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
