Getting a puppy from Tricia

Tricia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Tricia partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they're old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities - Around week 6”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“$3000 - Price includes limited AKC registration (no breeding rights), microchip, vaccines and deworming, 24 months hips/elbows guarantee, lifetime breeder support and a customized go home bag with puppy starter essentials. We do require $500 deposit to reserve a puppy. The remaining amount is due a week prior to pick up. If there are still puppies available in the litter you are seeking, the deposit insure your position on the waitlist.”

Contract & health guarantee

Tricia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Temperament Test

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    Tricia was wonderful to work with! Any and all questions I might have had were answered quickly and thoroughly, and I was left with no concerns. More importantly, the standard that Tricia has set for taking care of her pack is amazing, and when she made what I know was a hard decision to retire Kali from her program, she ensured that Kali was going to a great place and would be cared for like Tricia would care for her. From the second I met them both I knew that Kali was going to be a great fit in my pack and couldn't have imagined a better addition. She is such a sweet, smart, curious, playful girl!     Tricia was great to work with. She was very knowledgeable and attentive to answering any questions I had throughout the process. She really matched us with the perfect pup.     Mika (pink collar) was the perfect puppy for our family! Tricia was so helpful and receptive during the entire process and questions I had were answered promptly. She even sent me updated photos and videos of Mika until it was time to pick her up from Masky Kennel. Even after we brought Mika home, she followed up with us to check on how her first night (and week) went. You can tell she truly cares about her GSDs, their litters, and the homes that they go to.
