I'm Janean S., the breeder behind Maumee Berners located in New Haven, IN. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. Over the years we’ve learned valuable methods for socializing our puppies. What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black tan and white, black rust and white, and tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes the health examination paper signed by our vet, a health guarantee, all of the shots and deworming given in the first 8 weeks. We use PayPal only for deposits.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
