I'm Hope S., the breeder behind Mavericks Night Weimaraners located in Glen Rock, PA. We breed for hunt, show, rally, obedience, service and the greatest of all, a loyal companion for life. We have a program for veterans. We also offer incentives to those who show and compete. This program is for all types of events.Its an added incentive to go and compete your pup even if for fun.

Why did you start breeding?
When I got my first weim I was new to the breed. We both learned a lot. Arakh was one of a kind. Smartest dog I've ever owned. After him I only had weims. I married and my husbands dad bred and hunted weims. So thus was the start. I bought my stud and hunted him soley. It took me 4 years to find a female I liked. After that we slowly grew. All my lines go back to Wetobe lines, except the Imported.What makes your program special?
Part of what makes us special is first, our dogs. A calm temperment is a must. Looks, conformation is great, but without a good mind you have no dog. I work very close with my dogs. They are treated like humans, our family. We are a team. I am very selective where they go. I work with our families for life. I also work with/bring back pups/ dogs for training, we also board our pups here.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include gray, blue, and silver gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Hope
Hope has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Hope partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“2 year health guarantee, microchipping, vet inspection, health certificate, shots and worming fulfilled by the vet. Akc papers and pedigree. Deposits are non- refundable if you choose to back out. If we do not produce a pup for you it is refundable. It may also be moved to another litter of choice.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Spinal Dysraphism (SD), Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Hypomyelination, Weimaraner Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
