Mayflowers Cavalier Spaniels

I recently brought home my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Jaxson, from Mayflower’s Cavaliers, and I could not be happier with the entire experience. Even though I live in San Diego and the breeder (Grace) is based in Phoenix, the out-of-state process was incredibly smooth and reassuring from start to finish. Because I wasn’t able to meet Jaxson in person beforehand, I was initially nervous — but Grace quickly eased any concerns. She provided regular updates, complete with photos, videos, milestones, and even offered Zoom calls so I could virtually meet him as he grew. Her communication was outstanding and made me feel completely confident in my decision despite the distance. When Jaxson arrived to his forever home, he exceeded every expectation. He came already potty trained, knew his new name (we provided it ahead of time), could sit on command, and was clearly very well socialized. It’s obvious he was cared for lovingly and intentionally from day one. Grace was extremely transparent about all vet appointments, vaccinations, and health records. We took Jaxson to our own vet within 48 hours, and not only was he given a clean bill of health — our vet was genuinely impressed by how well potty trained, social, and smart he already was. The entire adoption process, including the contract and payment, was simple and straightforward thanks to Grace and her husband Isaac. They were consistently easy to reach, very responsive, and truly a pleasure to work with. They even drove to Yuma for the handoff, making pickup incredibly convenient and the transition seamless. If you’re an out-of-state buyer wondering whether you can trust the process with Mayflower’s Cavaliers — you absolutely can. Grace and Isaac go above and beyond, and it’s clear their puppies are raised with tremendous care and love. We are completely in love with our new family member, and we’re so grateful to Mayflower’s Cavaliers for giving Jaxson such an exceptional start. Highly, highly recommend!

When we found Grace on the Good Dog app, she had one pup from Mayflower’s litter that had yet to be claimed. Grace welcomed us into her home for an initial visit and provided all the information we needed to understand the breed, family history, and the process for making our decision to adopt. Grace also opened her home and made herself available for a second visit before picking up our sweet girl at the age of eight weeks. Throughout the process, Grace, along with her husband, supplied us with all of the information and materials that were needed to bring our sweet girl home.
