Why did you start breeding?
Our journey began on our homestead, where we fell in love with our Goldendoodle, Sophie's, intelligence and allergy-friendly coat. As first responders, we saw how much joy a loyal dog brings to a home. We realized our emergency backgrounds gave us the perfect skills to run a structured, healthy breeding program. We started McCaslin's Doodles to share healthy, ethically raised pups with you."
What makes your program special?
What makes McCaslin's Doodles special is our first-responder approach to raising puppies. We combine comprehensive DNA health testing with strict safety and cleanliness protocols. Born and socialized in our active family home, our F1B/F1BB puppies inherit 100% predictable, low-shedding coats. We bridge the gap between science and family love to give your pup the ultimate start.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include medium and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brandy

Brandy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Brandy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“We match our puppies based on a combination of buyer lifestyle preferences and the puppy’s individual personality. Around week 7, we evaluate each puppy's temperament, energy level, and confidence. By comparing these traits with your family's daily routine, activity level, and home dynamic, we ensure a perfect, harmonious match that sets both you and your puppy up for a lifetime of success.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price: $2200-$2800 (varies by markings). Includes parental DNA health testing, guaranteed low-shedding coats, vet checks, first vaccines, and in-home socialization. $300 deposit to reserve. $500 non-refundable deposit secures your puppy and applies to the total balance. Deposits reserve your picking order. Remaining balance is due at 48 hours before pickup.”

Brandy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. Leo is so much fun and full of energy. He hops around constantly and loves to play. Even though he is over a year old he still chases his tail and is just so fun, loving and goofy. Our favorite time together is cuddling on the couch in the evenings!

About Sophie
Sophie is so loving and sweet. She loves being with her people and just enjoying quiet time at home or traveling around and smelling all the new smells. She is very smart and sometimes a little sassy, but that's okay it makes her so much fun. Ever since she was a puppy, Sophie prances around when she gets excited, it is the cutest thing to watch.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
