I'm Melissa M., the breeder behind McNeely Saline River Bloodhounds located in Benton, AR. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Bloodhound breeders. We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!
Q. & A. with Melissa
Why did you start breeding?
I bought our dam from a quality breeder who inspired me to be the same for our many buyers! We feel like quality breeders instill a love for the bloodhound breed. We feel like everyone deserves a bloodhound for a companion. They are the best breed! Through breeding, I am able to develop lifelong friendships with our buyers and still be involved in our puppies lives. I am much more than a breeder.
What makes your program special?
Our bloodhounds are our babies and a vital member of our family. Whether you purchase your pup for SAR, tracking deer, or just purely companionship—you will not be disappointed in bringing a member of the McNeely SRB family into your home and life. Our family prides ourselves in producing beautiful AKC registered bloodhound pups bred for the use of family, hunting, or working companions.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are liver and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
