Menagerie Mudis & More

Theresa S.

Breeder of Mudis

Meet the breeder

I'm Theresa S., the breeder behind Menagerie Mudis & More located in Corydon, IN. Menagerie Mudis & More consists of my dogs and their world of conformation shows and performance sports. We are in love with all things DOGS! All parents are health tested, and puppies are raised with puppy culture to prepare them for show, sport, or pet homes.

Q. & A. with Theresa

  • Why did you start breeding?

Obedience is my first love. I grew up training dogs in 4H, and resumed after my children became adults. It was my turn to do what I love! A few years ago, I became fascinated with how a breed becomes fully recognized by the AKC. Herding breeds are great obedience dogs, so I wanted to explore that possibility. I was thrilled that the Mudi Specialty was being held two hours from my house. That visit began my love affair with the Mudi.
  • What makes your program special?

The best of my Mudis show in conformation, and are in training for obedience, rally, barn hunt, scent work, FastCat, and we are starting a few in Dock Diving! Four of my dogs do therapy work, and play at dog sports if they are not retired.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $150 non-refundable deposit and between $2,550 - $2,850 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“All puppies in a litter are the same price regardless of sex/color. Prices may vary based on the parents. Puppies are raised with Puppy Culture/Avidog , and are vaccinated, wormed, and microchipped. Non refundable deposits are taken to confirm purchase, and will be used for your puppy's DNA testing. Wait lists are always open. Deposits are taken from approved buyers, once we know we have a puppy for you. The deposit is $150, and will be used for genetic testing. Puppies will be placed with the most suitable home. A deposit is not a guarantee of a puppy, as sometimes the right puppy is not available.”
