I'm Melissa J., the breeder behind Miami Mini Doodles located in Davie, FL. All of our puppies from are born in our home surrounded by love, nurtured, and educated with kindness and compassion. Our puppies are well socialized with humans & other dogs and cats. They have been taught people and dog manners and most importantly are ready for you to love them as much as we do!

What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Aussiedoodle puppies are mini size. Golden Aussiedoodle puppies are miniature size. Goldendoodle puppies include petite, miniature, and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Aussiedoodle puppies include blue merle, black phantom, black and white, and black tri-color. Golden Aussiedoodle puppies include parti, red, apricot, chocolate, tri-color, phantom, merle, and black. Goldendoodle puppies include apricot, red, chocolate, black, phantom, merle, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Melissa
Melissa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Melissa partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“Temperament wise we will have an excellent idea of energy levels and personality by week 3-4. I pride myself on spending as much time with the babies as humanly possible. They are raised in the heart of our home from day 1 and never 'tucked away' into another room out of sight or in a converted garage, etc. We only get to be with them for a very short time and I want to give them the absolute best start possible! Because of this, I have an excellent feel on their personalities and try my best to help share that to help you choose the best pup for you and your Family! Regarding the waitlist, some Families are set on a boy or a girl and also set on coat color as well. Because we know Mom and Dad through and through, we know the size and energy levels will fluctuate between a small range. Because of this, we don't do the puppy picks at the very end of our time with them as many other Breeders do. We do allow Families to choose their pup at week 3 (or sooner depending on waitlist order!) and go in order of how deposits were received. Each Family has up to 48 hours to choose but most already know who they're hoping for when the babies are born! If for any reason the timing isn't right or you really had your heart set on a different color, gender or even energy level- you can always carry your deposit over to a future litter up to two times. That's never happened before but I do always share that just in case! We definitely want the timing to be right for both you and your new pup!”

“This price includes Florida Health Certificate, first round of vaccinations, thorough deworming, puppies follow an socialization 8-week curriculum, and are started on crate training & potty training. Your deposit can be carried over to up to our new two litters and is always 50% refundable up to your litter being 3 weeks old.”

Litter update on 13 Apr •…💚 Clover was my early morning work buddy today. ☕️💻 She loves to watch the birds and squirrels and oldly enough for an Australian Shepherd, has no prey drive! 😆 She would be bffs with a squirrel if she had the opportunity! So excited for her progesterone testing and AI that we have scheduled for this week if her numbers are within range. More updates to come! 💚🤎

We’ll be expecting puppies in mid–late summer—we are already counting down! ☀️💛 This is one of our favorite pairings, and we can’t wait to meet these sweet, well-balanced, and loving puppies! Litter update on 19 Mar •…💚 Clover is our sweet ‘gentle giant’ and while we say that, it’s more because she is our largest pup. She is a small-standard Australian shepherd weighing in at about 42 lbs. She is loves to climb up into your lap and thinks she is as tiny as ❣️ alucy! We are so excited to pair her incredible personality and beauty with our 🤎 Chip. He is absolutely brilliant and such a snuggly little guy. Chip loves to play and learn new tricks! He loves grooming so we always have some fun with his haircuts! Both Chip and Clover love to play chase too! With so many fun little quirks and their incredibly loving temperament we can’t wait for their first little ones to arrive!💓

Litter update on 19 Mar •…Wanted to share some recent photos of mom and dad! ❣️Lucy and 💙 Rocky are so wonderful and we love them so much! Lucy is such a sweetheart and silly little gal. She is both a ‘lap dog’ and also loves to play outside, run around in the leaves and splash pool, and chases after even the biggest of our dogs. Rocky is the most loving, loyal, patient, expressive, and communicative little guy. He’s a very small mini Australian shepherd and the biggest cuddle buddy. 💓

Litter update on 13 Feb •…Affectionate, confident, and people-focused — this is 🧡 Ember! At just over 11 weeks old (born 11/24/25), 🧡 Ember is thriving! He’s now napping for up to two hours at a time in his crate and making incredible progress with potty training. He understands the routine, responds well to structure, and continues building consistent habits each day. Ember has received two rounds of vaccines and is right on track with his health and development. He loves curling up in your lap for a cozy nap just as much as he loves playing with other dogs. He’s gentle, intuitive, and brings a steady, sweet presence wherever he goes. 🧡🐶

About Clover
💚 Clover is the ‘gentle giant’ in our pack! She is AKC registered and has a thick and luscious red tri-colored coat. She is extremely sweet and thinks she’s a lap dog! She loves all things water and loves to play chase with our other dogs. Because of Clover’s gentle nature she is one of the ‘chosen ones’ by our resident kitty and gets groomed by her on occasion. We generally know exactly where she is because where we are- she is! She loves to snuggle by our feet and it very attentive to her people! We love her so very much and are grateful we get to be a part of her life!

You come to meet and greet a puppy from a different litter in my home - great, but you’re going meet Lucy too! She LOVES people! Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Review for Melissa, Our Amazing Breeder! Having no previous experience working with a breeder, I didn’t know what to expect. When I found Melissa on social media, I instantly fell in love with the two puppies she had available. Throughout the process, Melissa was so helpful and responsive—sending updates, answering all our questions, and keeping us informed every step of the way. After a bit of back-and-forth, we decided on “Mr. Green,” who seemed a bit calmer given the fact that my elderly mother lives with us. We renamed him Rusty because of his beautiful color. Melissa immediately began calling him by his new name. The daily photos and videos she shared were terrific, and when we finally met him in person, it was clear that Melissa is an exceptional breeder. Not only does she raise and train her puppies with so much love, but she also cares for her own seven dogs. Rusty received the best start possible—Melissa’s care and attention made such a difference. When we brought him home ten days ago, she even sent us off with a thoughtful care package full of goodies to help him settle in. Melissa was fantastic through the whole process. She made so many great posts with pictures and videos in her litter updates showing how she was taking care of the puppies and preparing them to come home, as well as showing their progress as they grew. Melissa was also very engaging and informative via the chat, answering all of our questions. She put together a great homecoming bag for our dog including some of her favorite treats, toys, and some items with her litter mates and mother's scent.

I truly enjoyed getting my pup, Poisson, from Melissa!
