I'm Michael S., the breeder behind Michael's German Shorthaired Pointers located in Tumwater, WA. Our dog Abigail comes from a line of champions and was bred for those who want to raise puppies who hunt or compete. She was bred to a male who both hunts and competes with titles of Field Champion and Armature Field Champion.

    Our puppies are black roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Michael

Michael has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Michael partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"We believe choosing the right puppy will involve both us as the breeders having spent time with the puppies and the buyers based on their experience with the GSP breed."

Price

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes Litter registration with AKC, well puppy vet check, deworming, first vaccination, tail docked and dew claws removed. Socialization with people, exposure to noise, obstacles, car rides, and kennel time. Deposit is to hold a specific puppy with us until such a time as they are ready to be rehomed."

Michael may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
