I'm Marco and Haley M., the breeder behind Michetti’s Mountain Dogs located in Bergholz, OH. We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care. We love helping people find the perfect new addition to their families and we’re proud of our reputation as reliable breeders.
Q. & A. with Marco and Haley
Why did you start breeding?
It all started when we got our first 2 Bernese girls. We quickly fell in love with the breed! We knew we wanted to do everything we can to better the Bernese breed. We also got involved in learning the Bernese breed standard and show titles! To us, there’s no better family dog than a Bernese and we want to provide quality Bernese for those looking to add to their family!
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program isn’t unheard of. All we can say is that when the time came to decide whether to breed or not, we fully understood what we needed to do to be responsible and prepared. This includes health checks, being ready to vaccinate and worm newborns, microchips for our offspring, genetics assuremeant, and even finding homes for our puppies that are yet to be conceived.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
