Meet the breeder

I'm Malinda S., the breeder behind Milan Berners located in New Haven, IN. We live on a small farm in rural Indiana, during the day our dogs Max, Jasmine Indy and Jackie share our front porch swing with us, they DO NOT live in a kennel with "outdoor access" they live with us outside💞 📸Insta-Milan Berners 📸FB-Milan Berners.

Q. & A. with Malinda

  • Why did you start breeding?

A family member introduced us to the Bernese Mountain Dog, we fell in love with the breed and decided to start raising them.
  • What makes your program special?

We don't keep our dogs in kennels like many other breeders, they live with us outside, they love laying and rolling in the snow when we get some, getting a bath in the rain, sleeping on our deck and sitting with us on the porch swing.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are black rust and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Malinda and Milan Berners were absolutely great to work with. They communicated well and frequently. The sent photo updates of the puppy and provided flexibility for pick up. Milo has been a fantastic addition to our family, he is the sweetest boy!

Purchasing our puppy through Good Dog and Milan Berners was such an easy process. Our puppy Benny (formerly Levin) is the most calm and smart puppy we've ever had. Malinda was on top of staying in communication and sending us photos of him and updates. We can tell she truly cared about him and asks for regular updates as he gets acquainted with his new home. We will be recommending Milan Berners to anyone who stops to ask us about Benny (which has been very often already). Thank you, Malinda and Family!
